The Hulton Getty Picture Library has produced another superb book in their golden age of transport series. This book is filled with beautiful and evocative images - many of which have been printed for the first time. The photographs carry the text to some extent although the expert consultancy of Clive Harvey (formerly chairman of the Ocean Liner Society) ensures that there are few errors and many interesting facts. A must buy (especially at such a low price!) for all Ocean Liner fans and anyone who wishes to wallow in the nostalgia of this most romantic form of transport. |
